Long time no see, GIS! という投稿は昨年末のものである。GISの研究利用を久しぶりにして，という内容であるが，いま，この内容を読み返している。このページも試行錯誤しつつ長いので，/page breakを挿入したのであるが，目次もその分割を反映して，一部しか表示されていない。/page breakをはじめて使用したのは，タニハの雨戸修復についての投稿であるが，これは本文が分割表示されていてもはじめに全目次が表示されているために，全体構造がよく読めて，リンクの代わりにもなっていた。
調べて見ると，目次作成プラグインの違いによるものであった。前者の投稿はmotochan.infoのもので，後者の投稿はmotochan.siteのものである。前者には”Table of Contents Plus”，後者には”Easy Table of Contents”が，activateされている。後者が全体構造が見える目次を作成するプラグインだったのである。それで，前者では，”Table of Contents Plus”をdeactivateして，”Easy Table of Contents”をactivateした。これで解決した。
ぼくのWordPressのテーマはLightning（電光石火か）で，これにはVK All in One Expansion Unit (ExUnit)のインストールが推奨されていて，インストール前の環境も提供されている。これをインストールすると，ダッシュボードの左ペーンにExUnit（の環境設定欄）が表示されるので，ExUnit > Main settings > Page Top Buttonが見える。何も変更しなくても，表示されている投稿や固定ページの右下に page top button iconが表示されるのである。
WPvividの説明に以前から気になることがあって，Plugin: WP Mail SMTPの現状をみるとactivateができていないので，試しにactivateした。
まず，WP Mail SMTPから，”Hi there,Let’s see how many emails you’ve sent with WP Mail SMTP.”というメールが届いた。そして，まもなく，wpvividから次のメールが届いた。

Primary Connection > From Email，について，infoの方はぼくの所属機関でのメールアドレスが，siteでは，wordpress@motochan.siteになっていた。これが問題か。独自ドメインmotochan.siteではなぜかメールサイトの設定ができなかった。それゆえ，wordpress@motochan.siteも成立しえず，まずいのでは？siteのメールアドレスをiCloudに変更した。infoもついでに同様に。この設定変更を保存した時点で警告は消えた。
Perplexityに質問。「”WPvivid Pro”の”Enable Incremental Backup Schedule” で，”Weekly Full Backup”併せて “Incremental Backup of Every 8 hours” として実行するように設定した。バックアップ先は”Google Drive” で容量は100GBである。二つのWordPressサイトをぼくは運営しており，いずれも”Full Backup”の容量は14GBには満たない。この条件で次の質問にお答えください。「一週間ごとに過去のバックアップファイルは削除されてあらたに”Full Backup”が実行されるのでしょうか」」

WPvivid Proの「Enable Incremental Backup Schedule」で「Weekly Full Backup」と「Incremental Backup of Every 8 hours」を設定した場合、 一週間ごとに新しいフルバックアップが作成されますが、「過去のバックアップファイルが自動で削除されるかどうか」は「バックアップ保持（retention）」の設定次第です。

WordPressのホームとWPvividのSettings，WP Mail SMTP（Simple Mail Transfer Protocol），で修正を試みた。そしてエックスサーバーの独自ドメインmotochan.siteでのメール利用（これはmacなどでは使えない）の再登録もした。次の日曜日のmotochan.siteバックアップの際に効果が出るかもしれない。
さくらインターネットからエックスサーバーに移行すべく進めてゆく過程で，データベースの内容を知る必要がでてきた。GitHubが提供するおそらく最高峰のエディターVisual Studio Codeを使って，UpdraftPlusで作成したバックアップファイルを解凍して，データベースを参照し，データベースの中身を見ることができた。テキストとスクリプトだけで構成されている。テキストエディターで見ているのであるから当然だ。そのファイルが3GBを超えているのである。

Current Issue:
motochan.info: Daily scheduled backups work flawlessly, and confirmation emails are delivered promptly.
motochan.site: Backups do not run automatically, and no confirmation emails are received.
Critical Observation: When I navigate to the backup job settings (Action > Edit the job) and adjust the exclusion settings (Advanced Settings > Exclude Files/Folders Inside /wp-content/ Folder > Folders), selecting wpvividbackups/ and clicking “Exclude Files/Folders/File Types” manually triggers the backup. This occurs despite the scheduled backup being pre-configured identically to motochan.info.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Verified identical plugin configurations (including WPvivid Pro settings) across both sites.
Confirmed no conflicts from other plugins or server-side restrictions.
Request: Please investigate the root cause of this inconsistency and provide steps to ensure scheduled backups function autonomously on motochan.site, as they do on motochan.info.

で，ネット利用者が閲覧してきたサイトはhttpであったが，サイト運営者は否応なく，https（Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure）に変更する。その結果，閲覧者はhttpではhttpsに辿り着けない。そこで，httpにアクセスしても，httpsにリダイレクトされる形が必要となったのである。
（ぼくからの）質問： メッセージは次のようです。 1 backup task(s) have been failed. Please switch to Log page to send us the debug information. 進行状況ではすぐに13%と表示されて，その後も変わりませんでした。正確ではありませんが，40分ほど何度もトライしていたようです。特に，”Task, backup_db is not responding.” がよく出ていました。データベースは解凍すると3.04GBほどあります。php.iniを変更したいとは考えています。サーバーで見ますと全部で30GBほど占めていたように思います。 さくらからXServerへのサイト移行を考えていて，営為努力しているのですが。無料版UpdraftPlusの復元容量の制限を知らずにほぼ1ヶ月無駄にしてきました。昨日，UpdraftPlus Premiumを購入寸前に，WPvividの存在を知り，差し当たり，ローカルバックアップを始めたところでした。ご指導くださいませ。バッグを送信する，ボタンをクリックする。

さくらからエックスサーバーレンタルサーバーへの乗り換え 9: WordPress移行4 migrating WordPress site from Sakura to XServer 4
はじめに
やっとここまできた。このページでこのテーマは終了したいものである。エックスサーバーの本契約 Mar. 11, 2025 をしてもう一ヵ月，窓前では，白梅の開花をみていまやソメイヨシノの葉桜も終わりに近い。最大二日ぐらいで移行が完了すると考えていた。まあ学びの期間であった。このページでは移行過程をスクリーンショットを並べて示したいと思っている。ただ，現在，さくらレンタルサーバーにアップロードしているがこの移行プロセスの追加更新はXServerからのアップロードに引き継がれるはずである。
そして，サブディレクトリーなしの場合を作成し機能しないので削除し，サブディレクトリー wp2の作成したのである。機能しないと考えたのは誤りで，ネット上に公開されるのには時間がかかるようだ。忘れてしまった。2025年4月13日の午後6頃前にアップロードしたから，すでに7時間が経過するが,http://motochan.info/wp2をブラウザーで入力すると，「Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server.」となる。このthis serverはさくらのサーバーのようだ。
Google Driveのバックアップファイルの記録をこれからその視点で参照してみた。ファイル名は例えば，backup_2025-04-15-1636_YamatoGeographer_8976f0ebea43-uploads3とある。
バックアップされたファイルは上ほど新しいものになっている。backup_2025-04-15-1636_YamatoGeographerを冠するファイル群は，下から，-db.gz（gzip），-others.zip，………。ファイルそれぞれの右端に見える「⋮ (more actions)」をタップし，File information > Detailsで，Activityパネルを開くと，you uploaded an itemとして時刻が見える。
表： Google Driveの配列通り新しいファイルは上方に配置されているが，そのうち-dbから-uploads3までを並べる。
すでに実行してエラーが出てこの実行で得られた関係ファイルを指示に従って削除したのであるが，この updraft/ フォルダーに入っていたのではないだろうか。その意味では，UpdraftPlusがアップロードする手間を省いたことになる。「図36 削除結果」のメッセージからもそう理解される。リモートストレージ Google Drive からupdraft/ フォルダーへのコピーでは結局，「エラーメッセージ：Maximum execution time of 240 seconds exceeded」が生じなかったのではないだろうか。
Google DriveからWordPressにアップロードする方式では，「エラーメッセージ：Maximum execution time of 240 seconds exceeded」が出て，図50に見られるような認証画面までには至らなかった。FTPを通じてWordPressのサイト内にバックアップファイル（38個）を配置したことは功を奏したのである。
を書き込んだphpファイルを作成する必要がある。エディター Visual Studio Code で作成する必要がある。macのテキストエディットやCoEditorでは作成できない。ファイル名をphpinfo.phpとする。ぼくの環境では32バイトになる。図56，57に見えるphpinfo.phpは未完のものであった。
Visual Studio Codeによる編集済みのdatabaseファイルを元の-gzファイルに戻す必要がある。こうすけさんは7-Zipを推薦しているが，macユーザーからすると使いにくいソフトなので，Perplexityにお尋ねした。圧縮技術GZIPで圧縮されたファイルにファイル拡張子-gzが付加される。初心者にお勧めが次。

Visual Studio Code （略してVS Code）はマイクロソフトが提供しているシェアウエアである。これを立ち上げて前述のdbファイルを開こうとすると図5のように，「ファイルは非常に大きいため，テキストエディターに表示されません（2.81GB）」とメッセージされる。このメッセージの直下に，それでも開くと，制限の構成，の二択が出ている。
